We create our annual State of the Farmer report because at our core, we exist to serve farmers and ranchers and to help them thrive. The industry will re-evaluate things that don’t increase profitability as much because input cost are increasing. Technology will be looked at hard, but it has to be sustainable and profitable.

I think there will be more diversity more than anything, a shift to better meat quality from animals and breeds that provide good grazing conversion abilities. Especially with a focus on feed conversion rates to reduce herd carbon footprints.
