The Legacy Landscapes Program

DENVER, CO (January 23, 2026) — Following its successful launch, the National Grazing Lands Coalition (NatGLC), AgriWebb and Regrow are providing an update on the Legacy Landscapes program, a multi-partner initiative designed to help cow-calf operations improve their productivity and profitability. Created in partnership with Nestlé Purina PetCare, AgriWebb, NatGLC, and Regrow, the program is currently working with producers in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Texas to turn land stewardship into a measurable driver of profitability.

The program provides a robust support system for participating producers, offering more than $70,000 in valued assistance, including financial resources for new practice adoption, ranch management software, and tailored technical advisory. The process begins with an initial meeting with a NatGLC advisor to assess the operation and identify specific practices for a tailored plan. With this financial and technical backing, producers are enabled to implement practices that promote the longevity of the ranch’s legacy and the land that supports it.

Legacy Landscapes, originally launched in 2024, began as a privately funded partnership with Nestlé Purina Petcare. In collaboration with NatGLC, AgriWebb and Regrow, Legacy Landscapes is a program that connects the supply chain from end-to-end. This unique endeavor merges technology, market access, and technical expertise to address the real-world complexity of modern grazing operations. Feedback from the inaugural cohort confirmed both the demand for and value of integrated, multi-partner programs that align conservation outcomes with producer goals.

Building on that momentum, the partners leveraged producer feedback and additional funding to strengthen and expand the program in 2025. Through a blend of private investment and USDA support, along with new partners including retailer Ahold Delhaize USA and two major quick service restaurant (QSR) brands, Legacy Landscapes has evolved into a more flexible, scalable model designed to work across diverse landscapes and markets.

To facilitate these improvements, participants will use a ranch management platform, like that of Legacy Landscapes partner AgriWebb. The AgriWebb platform makes it easy for participants to track everyday ranch records, uncover insights with their advisor, and simplify the annual data submissions used to report sustainability outcomes. Outcomes are modeled by Regrow to enable the beef industry to capture the value of efficiency and productivity improvements.

“At its core, data is the catalyst that allows a producer and their advisor to build a roadmap and actually see the impact of every management decision,” says John Fargher, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at AgriWebb. “By turning daily records into clear insights, ranchers can confidently work toward their specific goals while maintaining total ownership and control of their information. We believe that when a producer truly understands how their decisions are moving the needle on their operation, they can build a more resilient and profitable legacy.”

A participant’s thoughts on the Legacy Landscape program

Eric Yates, owner and operator of Yates Family Farms, joined the program last year. He highlighted the program’s flexibility, low-risk nature, and the inclusion of AgriWebb as primary drivers for his participation.

“I love the fact that they [technical advisors] don’t tell you what to do,” Eric shared. “They ask, ‘What are some of the goals of your operation? What do you want to accomplish?’ and then let’s work towards that.”

“Traditionally we’ve done Excel sheets and pieces of paper, written on the back of a feed tag,” Eric admitted. “Then when we need to look at it, it’s a full week of compiling data.”

By moving to digital recordkeeping, Eric has streamlined his data and identified grazing patterns that were previously invisible, such as cattle returning to pastures too quickly. “Having access to AgriWebb was a huge key driver for me… and it’s truly helped us get a lot better,” Eric says.

The program is currently accepting applications for producers ready to turn their management insights into a competitive advantage. Interested producers can find more information or sign up by visiting grazinglands.org/legacy-landscapes.
