Where a more successful industry and a more sustainable future meet.

AgriWebb is a team of coders, cowboys, fifth generation farmers, product perfectors, storytellers, and visionaries who all share one core value: Live for the farmer, and the land they steward, in everything we do.

The AgriWebb Team

AgriWebb may have been born in this moment, but our team is always evolving its impact on the profitability, efficiency, and sustainability of the global livestock industry with every innovator who has since joined the mission. We live and work by our values: Living for the farmer; Acting with integrity; Making an Impact; Embracing Innovation; and Building a sustainable legacy. With over 75 global teammates now working together to solve the biggest challenges facing the farmers and ranchers responsible for delivering quality protein to more than 7 billion global citizens, we believe our story will always be changing and growing. Justin Webb

AgriWebb was born out of empathy for the challenges of modern farming. Founder Justin Webb experienced this firsthand during a 2014 generational shift managing “Eddington,” his family’s 150-year-old sheep and cattle farm. Like 90% of similar farms worldwide, Eddington relied on pen-and-paper records and trial-and-error management. Double entry of records, compliance-driven paper trails, and guesswork-based decisions were standard, with little access to data-driven insights. Before founding AgriWebb, Justin served as a Director and Head of Retail Client Business in Australia for BlackRock, the world’s largest Asset Manager. Ready to take on his next world-changing challenge, he sought to build out the right team of founders to turn vision into reality.

Kevin Baum

Enter Kevin Baum, an old college buddy from Oxford in 2012. After five years scaling early-stage renewable energy technologies, Kevin’s technical expertise, innovative mind, and drive to improve the world made him the ideal partner for what would become AgriWebb. Kevin brought SaaS know-how to the table, and a track record of proving how sustainable innovation can make an impact on a global scale. Taking a life-changing leap, Kevin moved to Eddington, immersing himself in farm life and solidifying his role in the AgriWebb Founding Family.

John Fargher

There was one more piece to the co-founding puzzle before AgriWebb took off! John Fargher, a friend and fifth-generation sheep and cattle farmer from Australia, shared Kevin and Justin’s vision for serving the livestock industry with next-level business technology. Like Justin, John brought his farming heritage to the table, his family farm being a 400,000-acre sheep and cattle station in the Northern Flinders Ranges of South Australia. John’s unparalleled ability to recognize, empathise with, and amplify the voice of the farmer was the ingredient the team needed to ensure that AgriWebb would become a truly indispensable part of farmers’ and ranchers’ everyday lives.

Phil Chan

When the hunt for an amazingly talented engineering mind commenced in 2015, the founders brought on Phil Chan to lead the development team. Phil’s first start-up put internet on planes, and in his long successful career at IBM he built products used by over a billion people globally. Phil’s product vision transformed AgriWebb from a concept into an essential, ever-evolving tool that is now used daily by tens of thousands of livestock producers worldwide. Beyond this, his leadership inspired AgriWebb’s original team of expert developers, engineers, and technical minds from some of the world’s leading tech organisations to come on board.

Our Values.

At iSelect, we believe there is as much, opportunity to fix the existing industry than to create a new one, particularly as the global demand for protein is expected to double by 2050. Seeing animals as a vital part of the food system today and in the future, we believe a significant positive impact can come from using technology to shift livestock production towards improved agronomic practices, more sustainable and ethical production methods, all while improving the nutritional profile of beef products. We believe AgriWebb can be at the center of that transition as a driving force to digitize and incentivize a better future for livestock production to the benefit of ranchers, processors, CPGs and consumers.
