🇦🇺 New Profit-Opportunities for Farmers Created by Corporate Sustainability

Zoom

30 April 2024

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Fast food, retail, pet food and meat processing companies have set lofty climate goals for 2030. But what does it mean for the farmers producing commodities funneling into the greater food supply chain? Opportunities to get rewarded for good land stewardship.

In order to hit their corporate climate goals, agrifood corporations have started developing Scope 3 climate programs that engage producers at the farm level. By participating, producers have a chance to tell their story of good land stewardship, and better yet, get compensated for it.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about the current landscape of corporate sustainability, how corporations are looking to engage producers with on-farm climate programs, and what support and compensation looks for the farmers participating within these kinds of programs. The panel has been built to ensure that voices from both farming and corporate backgrounds are represented for a robust discussion.

Our panel includes:

  • Jessica Loughland, Livestock Supply Chain Manager at Greenham
  • Doug McNicholl, McNicholl Livestock
  • John Fargher, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at AgriWebb

*This webinar begins at 12:00 PM AEST on Tuesday, April 30.
